Anthony C. Chimera Director of Development for Christian Brothers of the Midwest.
Brother Thomas Dominic Vance represents the Brothers to our alumni and friends. “BTD” oversees our Associates program and assists with a number of alumni and fundraising projects.
Brother Tom Hetland, Alumni Director Emeritus, generously represents the Brothers to alumni and friends, as well.
Paula Noreiko is Administrative Assistant to the Development team and the Receptionist for the Midwest District Office. Paula processes all gifts received, manages the acknowledgment process and updates the database.
Alex Vasiliades manages all communications streams for the Midwest District. He is editor of our Faith & Zeal magazine, the District’s webmaster, and produces a variety of other communications pieces.

Samantha Ven Huizen manages all Alumni and District events, including our 12 Lasallian Day events each year, the Alumni Banquets, Reunions, and Golf Outing. Samantha also manages our giftware and sportswear programs. Manages our Reunion giving, and planned giving programs. She works with a portfolio of donors and key groups such as Affiliated Brothers.
Lea Dacanay-Rodríguez joined the Development Team in Burr Ridge as the new Assistant Director of Development on September 1st. She has been in marketing and development for the Catholic Church since she moved to Chicago fourteen years ago. For several years she served as a consultant to parish stewardship professionals and parish leadership groups in their efforts to educate and inspire their communities about stewardship in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Most recently Lea was Associate Development Director for Catholic Theological Union. Prior to moving to Chicago, she had a successful career in media advertising in Hawaii. Lea earned her BA in Economics from the University of the Philippines and her Certificate in Spirituality from Loyola University Chicago. She is a volunteer spiritual director for Charis Ministry and the SEEL (Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life) program at Loyola University.
For her responsibilities, Lea is responsible for the direct mail program, the Visitor's Club, and Heritage Club.
Paul Quinn, assisted by Jane Quinn, assists with alumni events and projects.
