Dear Lasallians,

I am writing to inform you that Joanna Wagner, Associate Director of Alumni Relations and Special Events, has decided to pursue new opportunities and will be leaving Christian Brothers of the Midwest as of Friday, October 11, 2024. She will assume the position of Director of Marketing and Development at Esperanza Community Services, a nonprofit social service agency dedicated to empowering people with developmental disabilities.

During her seven years with us, Joanna’s leadership and effectiveness as an event planner and alumni relations officer has helped the District office celebrate our Lasallian mission and built relationships with hundreds of alumni and friends. Her leadership and devotion in the planning and execution of annual alumni reunions, golf outings, and special gatherings has fostered connections between alumni, the Lasallian community, and the broader alumni community. Our Lasallian mission is stronger today because of Joanna’s commitment to our alumni, friends, and colleagues and we thank her for this.

Please join me in wishing Joanna all the best in her future endeavors. We will definitely miss her jovial spirit, laughter, and presence around the office.
